Twitter is interfering in the presidential election by putting a fact check link on the president’s tweets about mail-in ballots (cheat-by-mail).

The link says “get the facts about mail-in ballots” and it leads to a fact check report based on information from CNN and the Washington Post. EXCELLENT choices for sources of factual information (insert sarcasm here).

The link says that Trump’s tweets are unsubstantiated, according to CNN, Washington Post and “others” and it goes on to say that “experts say mail-in ballots are very rarely linked to voter fraud.”

LOL. Experts, That would be never-Trumpers, Trump haters, democrat politicians and pretty much all of the leftist media folks.

And “rarely?” That really means “almost always.”

Biased Twitter has been exposed as being partnered with groups pushing the mail-in ballot issue so why in the world would we believe any mail-in ballot fact checking that they do?

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

By completing the poll, you agree to receive emails from SteveGruber.com, occasional offers from our partners and that you've read and agree to our privacy policy and legal statement.

Twitter is a “Premier Partnerof Vote Early Day 2020, an election advocacy group seeking to educate voters about casting ballots before election day. They are also a 2020 partner for National Voter Registration Day which also pushes mail-in ballots.

So Twitter is a joke and Trump actually has evidence of mail-in voter fraud for his side of the argument.

The leftist fact-checkers are, as usual, lying and censoring factual information to cover for Biden’s HUGE liabilities as a presidential candidate and doing what they can to cheat in the election using mail-in ballots.

The “unbiased” fact-checker guy, Yoel Roth, is also quite a prize. He has tweeted in the past that members of the Trump administration are “Nazis” among other things. Who’s fact-checking this schmuck?

After Trump’s tweets were labeled by fake news fact-checking, he threatened the social media giant.

He tweeted, “Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election. They are saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect, based on fact-checking by Fake News CNN and the Amazon Washington Post……..Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!”

He continued, ” Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that……..happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In Ballots take root in our Country. It would be a free for all on cheating, forgery and the theft of Ballots. Whoever cheated the most would win. Likewise, Social Media. Clean up your act, NOW!!!!”

This is a fight that we welcome – and have wanted for YEARS.

Facebook, Twitter and many other social media platforms have been censoring, demonetizing and shutting down the posts and accounts of conservatives and conservative groups for years.

Regulate them or shut them down, Trump! We are ready, even if it goes to the Supreme Court.

I believe that Twitter will shut down Trump before the election so I say let’s go! (more on this below)

Twitter has been riding the line between being a publisher or a platform and it’s time for them to make a decision on what they are – or have the Supreme Court make it for them.

As this Townhall article correctly states, as publishers, social media companies can restrict speech as they see fit. Their editorial decisions (not those of their customers) are protected by the First Amendment. However, they are open to lawsuits over the content.

As a platform, a company can’t be liable for content users post on their sites. This comes from Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. As a platform, companies don’t engage in free speech restraints. Congress granted this protection to Twitter, Facebook and others but only because the legislators assumed that they would operate as impartial, open channels of communications. Obviously, a WRONG assumption.

Senator Ted Cruz, while questioning Facebook’s Zuckerberg, said “in order to be protected by Section 230, companies like Facebook should be ‘natural public forums. On the flip side, they should be considered to be a ‘publisher or speaker’ of user content if they pick and choose what gets published or spoken.”

The article continues to say that Section 230 encourages internet platforms to moderate “offensive” speech but the law was not intended to facilitate political censorship. They say, “the dominant social media companies must choose: if they are neutral platforms, they should have immunity from litigation. If they are publishers making editorial choices, then they should relinquish this valuable exemption.”

Senator Marco Rubio tweeted something similar on Tuesday. He said, “The law still protest social media companies like Twitter because they are considered forums not publishers. But if they have now decided to exercise an editorial role like a publisher then they should no longer be shielded from liability and treated as publishers under the law.”

As I said above, I believe Twitter will remove Trump from their platform entirely. I think this fact check labeling of him is a test to see how far they can go as we get closer and closer to the election.

Actually, I believe they will first tweet out something that isn’t actually from him first. When that doesn’t work, I think they will find a way to disable his account entirely a few weeks before the election.

What’s to stop them? What consequences will they face? None.

Trump is a businessman and his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, is supposed to be some sort of social media wizard – so they need to come up with some kind of back-up plan now. This should have been figured out months ago. It certainly is something I’ve thought about for a while.

They need to figure out what new social media platform they are going to transfer to instead of Twitter – and I think this should be a voluntary switch before Twitter shuts him down. And we’ll all follow him. Even the leftists will follow Trump because they “need” to follow him.

Trump’s other option is to come up with a new app for his daily statements to us which should include more characters and should be a direct link to us – straight from the campaign, no third party. Call it “Trumpspeak” or “Trumpbox.”

There you go, Trump people. Free of charge.

Get your ducks in a row.

You don’t need Twitter. Twitter needs you.
