The media and democrat party (same thing) are all about marketing. In order to win their arguments, they have to control the narrative. And they LOVE to parade victims all over the TV and keep death counts going.

During the war against terrorists in the Middle East under George W. Bush’s presidency, we knew every day how many soldiers were killed. When Obama became president, we hardly heard a thing about it. It was as if the war was over and no one was being killed. The leftist media had his back.

When democrats wanted people to believe that children were starving because Republicans were taking away additional funding (additional funding not actual funding) for free school lunches, they did huge exposes on the “victims” and how they were suffering because of Republicans.

The media is currently lamenting the fact that we are not united in grief over the coronavirus like we were during September 11th, Pearl Harbor or the Space Shuttle explosion.

The LA Times says that even as the United States COVID-19 death toll nears 100,000, there is little sense that Americans are grieving together or uniting in a sense of purpose.

“I don’t think we’re taking this in,” said David Kessler, an author of six books on grief. He says, “It’s easy to digest a statistic. It is not easy to digest 12 plane crashes a day. Especially when there are no visuals. We aren’t seeing 90,000 caskets. That kind of stuff would shock us. Maybe this is too big for us to comprehend.”

“Grief must be witnessed,” he continues. “We want to know our loved ones’ life and death mattered. We want our family and friends to witness it, our community and we need our country to witness it. And it’s not happening on any level.”

The fact that people are dying in hospitals or nursing homes with family not being able to be around to say good-bye or attend their funerals makes it hard for the media to actively engage in stories about the victims. And the media is supposed to follow social distancing rules so that doesn’t allow them to showcase the deaths the way that they’d like.

The media might be holding off though until it’s closer to the election. Then they can come out with something like “Trump’s Coronavirus victims” – a phrase they can use every day and show videos and photographs of people who would still be alive if it weren’t for Trump.

As we all know, Trump is responsible for everything bad happening in America including being the cause of reducing the sense of unified national mourning.

The media desperately wants “faces” to represent the crisis because they need to get more people on board staying home and keeping the economy down. They need the fear to continue.

Right now, the media is focusing on statistics. They’re talking about cases and deaths and how it’ll be the end of the world if a church or hair salon opens. They are keeping track of every milestone and when the deaths in the United States from COVID-19 hits 100,000, they will probably have a week- long event. An ant-Trump celebration of sorts.

The stories of the victims are coming. They media is just figuring out the best way to do it and the best time to do it.

Frances FitzGerald, a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer says, “I think it will come (grief) because right now everybody’s still sort of scared, scared for themselves” of catching COVID-19 and thus not yet able “to grieve for others. So its a little too early.”

I’m curious. How do all of these leftist media experts know if we are grieving and what’s going on in our personal lives? We can’t have big funerals, we can’t get together in public…. we have a list of things we can’t do in public. We are grieving in private.

But the media doesn’t want that.

They are very unhappy that we aren’t able to grieve in public on a mass scale as a way to help bring about more liberal policies and get Trump out of office.
