I had to take a few deep breaths before I started working on this piece.
I live in Michigan and I can’t put into words how sad, angry, and disgusted I am with the leadership in this state.
I can’t believe that we’ve allowed a virus to destroy nearly everything our founding fathers fought and died for.
I can’t believe that we’re now at a point where the state government is turning on the very people who elected them.

Our officials don’t go after criminals or illegal aliens with the same fervor that they go after 77-year-old barbers just trying to make a living.
This is no longer about a “virus” – it’s about power and control and it’s very, very political, and anyone who can’t see that by now is either part of the problem or blind as a bat.
The barber I am speaking about is Karl Manke, and the State of Michigan has just suspended his license to cut hair. But he says that won’t stop him. He’s still open for business.

Karl Manke, who is a 77-year-old barber in Owosso, has had his license suspended according to his attorney.
Right now, Manke remains open, he has not been served with any paperwork from the state, according to his representation at the David Kallman Legal Group.
Manke told our Lia Kamana he will continue cutting hair and says he deserves to be able to go through the legal process to fight for his license.
Last week, Manke opened his shop saying he needed to make money in order to pay bills.
On Monday, a Shiawassee judge denied the state’s motion order to make Manke close his doors.
This morning, his attorney and the circuit court judge in Shiawassee County held a statuas conference and the court has scheduled a brief to be submitted to the judge.
It’s as if Whitmer and her cronies want to escalate this and cause a massive eruption in Michigan. That’s not what we want, however. We just want our state back and we want to work and provide for our families. But she keeps pushing and pushing.

Today, Whitmer appeared on ABC’s “The View” where she said that if we keep protesting, she’ll keep extending the lockdown.
She’s behaving like Michigan’s annoying “Mom,” not a professional governor.
She needs to go.
