Members within the conservative movement have been sharing videos of the late Ahmaud Arbery visiting his residence under construction and throwing out the narrative that he could have been trying to steal something or case the place to come back later.

Arbery was killed minutes later with Gregory, and Travis McMichael confronted him with guns in the middle of the road. It seems that the owner of the home under construction is now reporting that he never filed a police report with local law enforcement because nothing was stolen from his property. Thus, his place was never burglarized.
It’s a shame that individuals are trying to find a way to make Arbery guilty in some way, shape, or fashion when he was the true victim of vigilantes. He couldn’t wait for the police to show up after being called about a possible burglary suspect.
Another report on Friday claimed that there were no burglaries in the area over the past seven months.
[Law And Crime [3]] “I’ve never had a police report or anything stolen from my property, or any kind of robbery,” Larry English told The Washington Post in a Sunday report.
The 50-year-old’s current home is in Douglas, Georgia, but he was having a waterfront home built in Brunswick about 90 miles away. That new residence is one of the key elements in the Arbery case. The victim was shot nearby on February 23 after two men–father and son Gregory and Travis McMichael–confronted him. The elder McMichael allegedly told cops that they suspected the alleged victim as the suspect in a series of recent burglaries. No charges were forthcoming until recently publicized video apparently showed that the duo instigated the confrontation with Arbery.

911 audio from before the shooting shows a caller reporting a black man in a white T-shirt at a house under construction.
The operator asked if the subject was breaking into it.
“No, it’s all open, it’s under construction,” he said. “And he is running right now. There he goes right now.”

Here’s the thing you people don’t get. Even IF he was a robber, they are still going to be charged and tried for murder. You call the police. You don’t wild west it in the middle of the street and start shooting at people.

There is no defense and limited ability to create reasonable doubt. Some are questioning his clothes, claiming that he couldn’t job in khakis. And oh yes, he was wearing boots; therefore, he can’t be jogging. Yeah, good luck with that.
The two guys who killed Arbery have no defense. To institute a citizen’s arrest in the state of GA, you have to witness an actual crime. The owner of the property said that there was no crime. You can not witness a crime when a crime didn’t take place. These two guys had no business trying to detain Arbery. They weren’t law enforcement, and they didn’t have grounds for a citizen’s arrest. They harassed and killed an innocent man. They should go to jail for a very long time.
