On Sunday, China warned that relations with the United States were “on the brink of a new Cold War,” fuelled by tensions dealing with the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
A pandemic that has killed an estimated 350,000 people worldwide and setback the global economy. China owes the world an apology for its coverup of COVID-19. The U.S. should take this as a dire warning, do not be dependent on drugs and other basic supplies on China. China is at war with the world and spreading its dominance with military might. China is no friend of the U.S. or any country. I say treat China as they have treated the world.

If you are unemployed due to this virus, don’t forget that China is responsible for your worries about losing the roof over your family’s head and taking the food from your family’s table.
Embargo China and all it’s products. That will kill their economy and push them back into third-world status. If anyone starts a war, it will be China because the world caught them in a lie and is punishing them for it.
[AFP [2]] Fresh tensions between Beijing and Washington emerged as Muslims around the world celebrated an end to the holy month of Ramadan muted by virus restrictions and as more European nations prepared to further ease their lockdowns.
Globally more than 5.3 million people have been infected by the virus, which most scientists believe jumped from animals to humans — possibly at a market in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where the pandemic emerged in December.
The origins of the virus and China’s response have become highly politicised, with US President Donald Trump accusing Beijing of a lack of transparency, and pushing the theory that it may have leaked from a Chinese maximum-security laboratory.
China is using African countries to vote their people to U.N. China is controlling the WHO. China is stealing technology and patents from everywhere they can. China makes most of the pollution and garbage products in the world. China has no respect for human rights. China lies about everything. The list can go on. So why we need to support their regime. A cold war with them sounds fine.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Washington had been infected by a “political virus” to continually attack China, but added the country would be open to an international effort to find the coronavirus source.
“It has come to our attention that some political forces in the US are taking China-US relations hostage and pushing our two countries to the brink of a new Cold War,” Wang told a press conference at China’s week-long annual parliament session.
Wang blasted what he called efforts by US politicians to “fabricate rumours” about the virus origin and “stigmatise China.”
China does everything can to hide information about this virus from the world, allows it to spread, enable their diplomats to say it started IN the United States, threatens to stop producing many of the medicines that are manufactured in China and exported to the U.S… and Trump is the one pushing a Cold War?
Haha, the only person who would believe that is a Democrat.
I would counter that coronavirus and fentanyl is a legitimate act of war and not at all ‘cold.’ Add to them the reality that China has been intentionally lying about meeting American manufacturing standards on many items so that unsuspecting Americans are at higher risk for cancer and other harmful conditions because of China’s intentional dishonesty (all Lumber Liquidators products are made in China, and none pass the American standards for carcinogens despite China lying that they do, just to name one. Consider all the pet products, food and treats, and even their stint with poison baby food and formula).
Forget tariffs, take 100% of U.S.’s China held debt and wipe it clean for the cost of the virus, which still leaves (at present, but mounting) about 2 Trillion in a balance they owe to the U.S., then refuse to import any more of their products and require anyone who wishes to do business with or in America that they are not located in China or manufacturing any part of their products in China — you don’t have to make it in America. Still, you cannot make it in China, who simply cannot be trusted on any level.

Amongst other things, as a U.S. citizen, I don’t want products from China, a technology from China, or anything from China. I wouldn’t say this because I am vengeful, but I just wish to quality goods. The stuff that comes out of China is garbage or stolen intellectual property. Either way, I find the Chinese business model repulsive.
Yeah, this war isn’t cold at all, it’s past time we shot back.
