Meghan King Edmonds, who is best known for her time starring on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has just spoken out to complain about how miserable she is in quarantine as the single mother of three children amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Fox News [1] reported that Edmonds, who is currently going through a divorce, posted a new blog piece on Friday along with a disclaimer that it would not include any parenting advice or even a “glimmer of hope.” While she said she initially enjoyed aspects of quarantine at the beginning of COVID-19, she said the word is now “synonymous with HOUSE ARREST.”

Edmonds explained that she has been extremely “lonely” as she self-isolates with her daughter Aspen, 3, and twin boys Hayes and Hart, 23 months. She added that she can no longer relate to friends who are enjoying quarantine, as she is experiencing a “soul-sucking, get-me-out-of-here-I’m-going-crazy kind” of isolation.
“My brain will either explode with envy or shrivel from misdirected frustration into a disgusting remnant of discarded week-old food (need a visual?) Just look in any highchair, I have several,” she said.
Edmonds went on to explain that her children are screaming “non-stop” and that she can’t even find silence in the bathroom. Making matters worse, one of Edmonds’ son has irreversible brain damage known as PV, which affects his motor skills. He typically attends speech, physical and occupational therapy appointments multiple times a week to deal with this, but he has not been able to do this lately, which his mother says has caused his development to become “regressed.”
She admitted that she does have a live-in nanny, who she describes as a “Godsend,” but also said that she isn’t able to get privacy as she sleeps at night because her toddler shares her bed.
“I have no personal space,” Edmonds explained, adding that she can now “barely work.”

Despite all of this, Edmonds was able to find one positive about her quarantine experience.
“Without quarantine we can hide from our nagging insecurities, but during this time we’ve been forced to really look into that ugly mirror and see all the parts of ourselves and finally DEAL with it,” she wrote. “All we can do is use this time to let our ugly out.”
