The democrats are always coming up with one scheme or another to get rid of President Trump. This time, they hung their hopes on Rick Bright, an Obama-appointed immunologist who says he was removed as director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) for opposing the promotion of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19.

However, that fairytale is disputed with internal communications showing his support of the drug and the fact that he’s the one who requested an Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA for donations of chloroquine made by Bayer and Sandoz for the Strategic National Stockpile.

Bright was hailed by the democrats as a whistleblower and they had high hopes of him telling secrets of how bad Trump and his administration are.

This is a common theme that keeps getting repeated over and over again. The crazy democrats are actually getting boring. We need a new TV show.

It’s the end of the world – or else – and the democrats need people on board to push that narrative. Bright looked like he was a game player.

The democrats had him testify on Thursday in front of the Subcommittee on Health for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce about his whistleblower complaint but the only thing they accomplished was getting some sound bites for TV and the internet.

His warnings were all over the web about the ”darkest winter in modern history” and how “the window of opportunity is closing.” Nevermind that no one has ever heard of this crackpot.

Truth is, he’s a sucky employee which is pretty obvious when you look him up on Wikipedia. He’s held 10 jobs since 1990, a lot of them lasting only a year or two, and none of them lasting more than four years

His ousting appears to have nothing to do with hydroxychloroquine and was more than a year in the making because he clashed with leaders about his decisions and the scope of his authority, according to five HHS officials who discussed the matter with Politico

BARDA didn’t appear to be all that responsive under the leadership of Bright, moving too slowly and focusing on the wrong things. In the Politico article, a former official said, “BARDA was not as responsive during the crisis. Rather than prioritizing therapeutics that could be available in weeks, Bright focused on products that would take weeks or months.”

Looks like the dude was fired for the same reason that most people are – being incompetent and/or insubordinate. But in the era of TDS and orchestrated coups against the president, you might as well blame Trump and testify so you can increase your future career opportunities.
