Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn is opening up about her mental health like never before as she has revealed how she is struggling to deal with life amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

While appearing on “Good Morning Britain” on Thursday, the 74 year-old admitted that she cries multi times a day because of her concerns for others in the era of COVID-19.

“We are very lucky and I’m incredibly grateful, but I do feel a tremendous angst and a tremendous sadness,” Hawn said, according to Page Six. “I find every day I cry probably three times a day because it hurts me to think that there is abuse going on, anger going on and this all has to do with confinement, fear and uncertainty about what is going to happen. It’s catastrophizing.”

Hawn went on to admit that her quarantine with her longtime partner Kurt Russell likely looks different because “we are in a rarefied world, we have lovely houses and places to be, my family live very close and we do a lot of social distancing.”

This comes one month after Hawn spoke to The Guardian to offer tips to others in self-isolation.

“Before you go to bed, think of three things that went well today,” she said. “I don’t care if it’s a little crazy thing – it doesn’t matter.”

This comes after Hawn posted a video to Instagram in which she issued a laughing challenge to her fans during this difficult negative time.

“If we could just laugh just once a day – you know, a baby laughs on an average of 72 times a day. This is something I read. And I wonder, where did that laugh go?” she asked.

“So let’s just do a challenge, all of us, and if you could film your kids laughing, you laughi-” she added. Right at that moment, Russell brushed her face with a tree branch as he wore both a mask and gloves even though they were inside their home.

Hawn kept laughing as he tickled her, telling him playfully “Stop it!” and “Go away from me!”

Russell eventually stopped and held a mask from his branch, dangling it in front of Hawn as he told her, “You need to wear your mask.”

“Oh my god, honey, we live together, okay?” Hawn said, before continuing, “Laugh guys and shoot it and put it all over and let everybody know that there is a piece of us that everyday can feel happier.”
