After Yet Another Nasty Twitter Brawl, Trump-Hater Chrissy Teigen Announces She’s Taking a Break From Social Media

Chrissy Teigen is a drama-queen. The woman can’t seem to post on social media without making a massive stink over everything.

When she’s not attacking Melania, Ivanka, or starting fight with President Trump, she’s posting overly-needy, attention-seeking bathroom videos that are as cringe-worthy as Madonna, and whipping up drama with anyone who doesn’t fawn over her every word.

Teigen also doesn’t take criticism well. You can’t critique or question her without feeling her wrath. And after she starts another “social media spat” and it doesn’t go her way, she plays the victim role, tucks tail and runs.

That’s exactly what happened this time around when Chrissy got into a social media brawl with a food writer for the New York Times.

Here’s what happened:

You may not know this, but Chrissy Teigen has a line of kitchen products called “Cravings” that is available at Target and other places. She also has a cookbook, which launched her “foodie” career.

Apparently, the New York Times writer Alison Roman isn’t impressed with Chrissy’s products or her cooking skills and accused the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model of running a “farm network” pumping out her junky brand online. Basically saying, Teigen has a team of marketers who are marketing her cruddy products.

During an interview with New Consumer [2], Roman said the following about Teigen’s “Cravings” brand:

Like, what Chrissy Teigen has done is so crazy to me. She had a successful cookbook. And then it was like: Boom, line at Target. Boom, now she has an Instagram page that has over a million followers where it’s just, like, people running a content farm for her. That horrifies me and it’s not something that I ever want to do. I don’t aspire to that. But like, who’s laughing now? Because she’s making a ton of fucking money.

I’m more interested in expanding myself as a writer. My next book is going to be narrative nonfiction — essays and short stories and stuff.

To me, the only way that I can continue to differentiate myself from the pod of people that write recipes, or cookbooks or whatever, is by doing a different thing. And so I have to figure out what that is. And I think that I haven’t ultimately nailed that. And I’m in the process of figuring it out right now.

Tiegen was incensed and “hurt” at the comments and took to her social media to shame Roman. A day later that backfired and Chrissy herself was dealing with backlash, so she did what she always does – played the victim – and declared she’s taking a break from social media because she’s so misunderstood and nobody appreciates all the work she does and tears she sheds.

Give me a damn break. Chrissy Teigen makes a habit out of attacking people for no reason and uses her followers and status to bully others on a regular basis.

This is called “karma” and she deserves every bit of.

Teigen said she’s taking a break from social media and set her Twitter account to “private.”

From Daily Mail  [3]

Chrissy Teigen set her Twitter account to protected on Sunday as the fallout from her kerfuffle with food writer Alison Roman continued.

The 34-year-old model and wife of John Legend announced she’d be taking ‘a little break’ from social media after the drama with the New York Times food writer.

‘I really hate what this drama has caused this week. Calling my kids Petri dish babies or making up flight manifests with my name on them to “Epstein island”, to justify someone else’s disdain with me seems gross to me so I’m gonna take a little break,’ she wrote.

(I’m sure she’ll be back tomorrow if she isn’t already).

Why can’t people disagree with Chrissy? What makes this privileged elite think she’s above criticisms or questions? She’s in the public eye, that’s part of the package.

Chrissy can dish it out, but she certainly can’t take it, can she?

Typical liberal bully.

You reap what you sow, Chrissy. Start being nice and kind, and you’ll get that back.
