Ricky Gervais is the anti-celebrity celebrity.
He’s the “everyman” celebrity, and he gets it. He doesn’t showboat or lecture people on politics or social issues.
Gervais understands his spot in this world – he’s an entertainer, not a finger-wagging know-it-all like most of these insufferable elitist celebs.
And the best part is that Ricky has taken it upon himself to constantly roast these egomaniac smug, privileged celebrities.
In his latest interview, Gervais says that “millionaires in mansions shouldn’t lecture normal people.”
He’s right!

Gervais is actually doing celebs a favor by trying to keep them in line – I don’t think there’s been a point in time when celebs are more hated and mocked.
They’d be much better suited taking his advice and shutting the hell up and just acting or singing, but sadly most won’t. These people are really full of themselves and have been surrounded by far too many “yes men” assistant and bootlickers for far too long.
