There’s an old saying, “There’s no dignity in death.” Prayers to all friends and families affected.
It’s just sad. Tragic. Hospitals have to do what they can, states have only so many mobile morgues, and I understand that, but at the same time, forcing myself to imagine my mother being forklifted into a refrigerated truck in public after dying without her family with her is more than I can handle.
We have become a society that complains about everything. Well, welcome to the reality of things. Viruses don’t care who you are, how much money you have, and how powerful. This is a wake-up call, people. This should bring it home to all of us. This is very real. Stop believing the “fake news” from the media and online experts that have a conspiracy about everything.

A shocking video shows how one hospital in Brooklyn, New York, became so inundated with coronavirus victims that it used a forklift to transfer the bodies into the back of a refrigerated truck being used as a temporary morgue.
The video was posted on Facebook on Sunday by a person named John Lee, who said the footage “may make you want to take it serious.”
A spokeswoman for Maimonides Medical Center told the New York Daily News that it “regrets that anyone was able to obtain video of this nature.”
“We’re working very hard to provide accurate accounts of all the good work being done to care for COVID patients, and the stories of many people who have recovered and gone home,” the spokeswoman said.
A representative for the Brooklyn Hospital Center told Patch that its workers were “following protocols established by public health officials.”
The representative said that the refrigerated truck was serving as an ancillary morgue “needed to accommodate the tragic spike in deaths, placing a strain on the entire system of care — from hospitals to funeral homes.” [Business Insider]

Be thankful these photos are being shown. China and Iran have been hiding the 10s of thousands dead and cremated or buried in mass graves. Next time you see people praise China, think about this.
As awful as this is, what are hospitals supposed to do? Overwhelmed with so many deaths that have to be removed and handling one person at a time is almost impossible. I don’t know if people can contract the virus from someone who has passed, but if so then the procedure they’re using seems to be the only course.
If it was one of my family members, I would be horrified but would recognize there isn’t any other choice. This new reality has so many ghastly things attached to it.
Everyone stay safe. This is an intolerable time, but we have to tolerate it.
