Call this an anger distraction of sorts. Former 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate is all in for Joe Biden and is currently in the wilderness, keeping his mouth shut on the sexual assault allegations of the man he endorsed to represent the party. Still, then again, he has time for this?

Sanders took a shot at the Trump administration on Wednesday, claiming it had released $100 commemorative COVID-19 coins. “If the White House Gift Shop is going to produce $100 COVID-19 coins, Trump can sure as hell utilize the Defense Production Act to manufacture the gloves, gowns, and masks our medical workers desperately need,” Sanders tweeted, linking to a Daily Beast report.

Sanders didn’t do his background work or any type of research on the subject because the report mentioned that the store providing the coin was located at WhiteHouseGiftShop.com, which has the White House logo at the top of its page but is not affiliated with the White House, it is a privately run store.
With just a little piece of digging, he would have found out that the WhiteHouseGiftShop is “a private for-profit company which has no connection to the White House or the Secret Service or any other government entity, despite that fact that it seems to go to some lengths to give the impression that it does.”
Sanders outrage was joined by other Trump haters, people that will go after the Commander-in-chief for anything, hoping the American people join their bandwagon. Some released statements like this; “The White House has elected to commemorate this historical time of the coronavirus pandemic with a coin that’s on sale and ready to ship by summer,” reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

One side features a virus spore over a world map. “Together we fought the UNSEEN enemy,” it reads in part. The other side features a White House podium and the names of the coronavirus task force members.
Anyone with a sane mind would have noticed the White House wasn’t part of this from the jump, but Democrats love to make nothing into something. The WhiteHouseGiftShop also sold coins commemorating the newly installed Space Force and Pres. Trump’s 2018 Summit with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un.
What a tool these people are.
