Earlier, Daily Mail [4] reported that de Blasio refuses to walk around his mansion grounds, and instead is driving some 12 miles away with his entourage and wife to walk around a park in Brookland. Mayor Bill de Blasio claimed that exercising in Prospect Park helped him work “nonstop” during the coronavirus outbreak – despite telling millions of residents to stay home and practice social distancing.

De Blasio received backlash after footage shared on social media showed him and his wife, Chirlane McCray, walking in Prospect Park.
While answering questions on NY1’s “Inside City Hall,” de Blasio hit back at residents who have labeled the mayor hypocritical during the coronavirus pandemic.
‘I go get my exercise like everyone else,’ de Blasio said.
So, a Twitter user took Bill up on his suggestion to “report” people not following the rules and she reported Mayor de Blasio to the police.
She shared the text message she sent to the number Bill advertised on his video. The Text read: Mayor bill isn’t adhering to lockdown rules. Along with the text was a photo from the Daily Mail piece about de Blasio traveling 12 miles to the park.
Ha ha ha!
