Dem Who Thanked Trump Refuses to Be Silenced by Whitmer – ‘I Will Go Against Her Any Day’

Finally! A Democrat who’s actually ready to fight against Whitmer and her tyrannical behavior.

Democratic Michigan state Rep. Karen Whitsett recently blasted Whitmer after it was revealed that party officials are planning to censure her for publicly thanking Trump for saving her life after she fell ill to coronavirus:

Local Democrats in Detroit will hold a vote this weekend to censure a lawmaker who met with President Trump and credited him with saving her life after he touted a drug she says kept her alive when she fell ill with the coronavirus.

“At the end of the day, we have political systems,” Jonathan Kinloch, chairman of the 13th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization, told Detroit News. “We have political parties, and political parties exist for a reason.”

Critics argue state Rep. Karen Whitsett, an African American Democrat, broke protocol when she met earlier this month with Trump and other federal officials at the White House. Whitsett participated in a round table discussion with other survivors of the virus on April 14. [Washington Examiner ^[1]]

Whitsett slammed Whitmer and her fellow Detroit Democrats on Tucker Carlson Tonight, saying: “I’m not going to stand by and be quiet, nor will I be silenced by anyone when it comes to the people in my community. I don’t care who it is.”

Whether Whitmer admits it or not, this is clearly a ploy by her and her fellow Democrat henchmen to silence someone who isn’t pushing their narrative.
