I used to be a fan of the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution where it said “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

I’m not such a fan anymore. The powers never get to the people, they are usually stopped at state level and our freedom is dependent upon who is running those states. The states have their own rules, the constitution be damned. Right now, Trump is not the tyrant. He’s not the “Hitler” the Democrats have always said he is. He is giving suggestions, not orders.

The governors, and mostly democrat ones, are giving edicts, threatening people and oppressing our rights. And it’s happening at the local level too.

The Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic is being used as an excuse for states, counties and cities to rule over us with little to no pushback. Now that the public has been adequately stoked into a state of panic by the media and the government, these municipalities are getting away with things we never would have thought possible before.

Most of our constitutional rights are being ignored. There is no asterisk in the constitution that says it’s void when we have wars or pandemics or it’s raining on a Thursday. Governments have decided that we no longer have freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, or the right to bear arms. And what has happened to our pursuit of happiness?

There is so much oppression going on, it was hard to narrow the list down to only a few examples but here are some of them…

  1. Philadelphia Man Dragged off Bus by 10 Cops for Not Wearing Face Mask While actual criminals, including people who have committed assault and battery, are being let out of prison because of the pandemic scare, police officers are busy, en masse as this video shows, going after unmasked citizens who aren’t complying with the unenforceable Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority policy of having to wear a mask on a bus.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

So even though there was no crime going on, 10 police officers still decided to physically assault a bus passenger and drag him off the bus for not wearing a mask. The bus driver, who wasn’t wearing a mask, and probably comes in contact with hundreds of people a day, was left alone.

  1. Churchgoers in Mississippi Issued $500 tickets to People Attending Church Service Sitting in their Cars in a Parking Lot Here’s another example of government overreach and trampling over the constitution. Churchgoers who attended a drive-in church got fines for violating their major’s curfew order at the King James Bible Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi. The churchgoers were being safe with their windows up and doors closed, far safer than people are in grocery stores. But those evil churches must be stopped. About thirty tickets were issued.
  2. Michigan Governor Stops Stores from Selling Products and Doesn’t Allow People to Visit Anyone Not Living in their Homes In her ongoing efforts to audition for the Biden vice presidency, dictatorial Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer continues to oppress the citizens of her state. In her new executive orders, she is not allowing big box stores like Menards to sell flooring, paint, or food seeds and plants. She also issued an order that there are to be no gatherings of anyone not living in the same

household. You also can’t take your motorized boat on the lake but pot stores are deemed essential so you are free to smoke weed. Looks like she doesn’t want you buying American flags either. A Costco in Michigan taped off their flag inventory at their store. Makes sense why Whitmer wouldn’t want those being sold. Flags represent America and our freedoms.

Suffice to say, Whitmer better hope she gets the VP nod, because she’s worn out her welcome in Michigan, even with democrats.

  1. Former Police Officer Arrested for Playing Ball With Six-year-old Daughter A former police officer, Matt Mooney, was arrested in a Colorado park for throwing a ball with his daughter. The cuffs were put on the father in front of his daughter by two very industrious and hardworking police officers who obviously had no drug dealers to chase or any unauthorized lemonade stands to shut down.

Mooney didn’t give the officers his name because he didn’t believe he broke any laws. He said the officers didn’t like that. “They then proceeded to make a threat against me saying, ‘If you don’t give us your identification, if you don’t identify yourself, we’re going to put you in handcuffs in front of your 6- year-old daughter.'” He was handcuffed and placed in the patrol car for about 15 minutes while they phoned a supervisor.

  1. The Drones are Watching You Police departments are ordering drones to watch their citizens and making sure they’re not meeting up in groups of two or more to fish, buy unauthorized products and to verify that everyone is six feet apart from each other.

Some of the drones will even talk to you like the ones used by police departments in Florida and New Jersey which have a pre-recorded warnings that will be deployed if crowds are not following social distancing guidelines.

  1. School Systems are Monitoring Their Students “Free” Computers In one southeastern Michigan school district near Lansing, students are being given Chromebooks to use at home on loan. The computers are for students to use for the remainder of the school year since in-school classes have been cancelled due to the Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic.

There are, of course, terms to agree to. Parents must agree to have their students make their computers available for inspection by any school administrator or teacher to look at any messages, files or other activity sent or received on their Chromebook. There must also be no attempt to remove or bypass the filtering/monitoring software on the Chromebook. Yes, they are monitoring you.

  1. Funeral Repast in New Orleans Leads to Ticket and Arrest Warrant Sorry if you happen to die at the wrong time because if people show up at your funeral, they can be arrested. Not only can you not visit your elderly relatives at most nursing homes or go to the hospital with your loved ones, looks like you also can’t go to their funerals in some places. For some reason though, you can still go to the grocery store for Cherrios. Makes sense, right? Funerals unsafe, Cheerios safe.
  2. Snitches, Narks and Bribery The government is not only urging people to turn in their neighbors and local businesses if they are not following stay-at-home orders, some are paying rewards for doing so. Los Angeles even has a slogan called “Snitches Get Rewards.”

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is encouraging the community to report businesses that violate his Safer at Home order. He even has a “business ambassador” program in place, with communist soldiers ready to be deployed against the people. They are dispersed in the the city, looking for bad actors, issue warnings and share information on businesses who are recurring noncompliant establishments with information going to the police department.

Is This Temporary or Will We Reclaim our Rights?

The democrats think they are onto something. They think they’ve finally found a way to take down the president, lord over us and get everything they want. It’s called fear. Big brother and the police state are here.

Not only are we living under the democrat’s fantasy of the Green New Deal with businesses being closed everywhere, our constitutional protections are gone. G-O-N-E.

The only question is how long will the people put up with it?
