Monopoly money is like that, never-ending supply until the printing press breaks down.
On Sunday, Steven Mnuchin, U.S. Treasury Secretary, predicted the White House and Congress would reach an agreement to work out a $1 trillion-plus bill aimed at limiting the coronavirus pandemic’s heavy toll on the economy. Last week, Pres. Trump’s administration pushed for aggressive steps to stem the economic hit.
Even though I don’t agree with big government and exploding debts, if this has to be done, I think we should forego providing loans to airlines, especially no cruise lines who do not pay taxes to the U.S., other huge industries, who should have sufficient cash reserves to weather this. Put the money directly into the hands of the workers, and small business owners. That way, multiple payments could be made to the individuals to sustain them over longer periods of time.

Congress and the US government were working furiously on Sunday to provide trillions of dollars in rescue money aimed at cushioning both businesses and ordinary Americans from the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill were nearing a deal to inject roughly $1.6 trillion into businesses and the pockets of millions of workers laid off as the Covid-19 virus continues to spread. A separate package would provide a stunning $4 trillion in liquidity to juice up the economy.
A procedural vote in the Senate on the smaller package was set for 3:00pm (1900 GMT) Sunday.
“We look forward to wrapping it up today,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told “Fox News Sunday.”
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said late Saturday that the deal was “very close.” His Democratic counterpart, Chuck Schumer, said that “to my delight and surprise there has been a great deal of bipartisan cooperation thus far.” [AFP]
After 911, nothing would surprise me. Government is made up of people and from what we’ve seen over the years, our government is infested with nothing but greedy and corrupt politicians. Case in point being the four Senators who dumped massive amounts of stock prior to the markets collapse. Those are just the few we’ve discovered so far. I would demand a full investigation of all branches of government, including the legislative branch.

The only thing worse than the coronavirus is crashing the economy to avoid anyone getting it. The only thing worse than the crashed economy is the “fix” which will put us all in debt for the rest of our lives. I wish people would just stop trying to save us.
Seriously, though. Are we really doing this? If you accept the premise that 1.5 million people might die in the US from the coronavirus, and we somehow manage to avoid anyone dying, at the cost of crashing our economy, and it costs us $4 trillion to recover from that crash, then we just spent $2.6 million per person that we saved. There has to be a better way!
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) numbers are a total lie and even our government numbers are only for those tested and verified. We don’t know how many are infected and what percentage are at serious risk of dying based on these numbers. GIGO. Italians are reporting death rates increasing 3-400% but the “confirmed” virus deaths are only about one-third of that total. In China, they only use cell phones, everyone is issued an ID number and with that tag, they are issued a phone number from their single provider.

If they don’t pay their bill for 2 months they are dropped from the system. Suddenly in January and February, 6.5 million have been dropped from the list.
Whether you believe this virus is a special emergency or not, it is being used by all of them to implement a pandemic martial law, and that has always been their priority. I knew this was coming in January and I’m just a nobody news guy.
