As usual, they want millions for the rich, thousands for the middle class, and zero for disabled vets and senior citizens.

Sen. Tom Cotton blasted Rep. Nancy Pelosi and her cronies over holding up the coronavirus relief package bill in an attempt to check off items on their “ideological wish-list.”

The real reason they are holding out is she wants to include money for abortions. What do abortions have to do with the crisis on that we are in now. Pelosi is holding the American people hostage again like she always does, just goes to show how much the Democrats care about the ones that are sick and families that are out of work now and can’t pay their bill and may lose their homes she has lots of money.

House Majority Whip, Rep. James Clyburn, told his caucus members that the coronavirus relief bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” Abortion, unions, student loans, wind, and solar, climate change regulations, the list never ends.

“There is a good bill, a bill that was negotiated in good faith over the weekend with many Democrats . . . that they are now blocking, that they will not even start debate on because of ideological wish-list items,” Cotton said on the Senate floor. “It is disgraceful, and it is dangerous to the lives of our people and their economic well-being.”

The competing bill promoted by House speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) includes measures to cap carbon emissions for airlines, mandate “diversity” initiatives for corporate boards, and forgive student-loan debt.

“Democrats want to impose quotas for race and sex on corporate boards,” Cotton said. “Is that going to stop anyone from getting sick from coronavirus?”

Senator Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), who spoke immediately after Cotton, also said the Democrats’ proposed stimulus was a non-starter.

“It’s not gonna work. We’re not gonna do this,” Graham said of the bill, accusing the House of “holding hostage“ relief for Americans. [National Review]

Cotton is one of the Senators I admire because of his genuine love for America. Not only that, but he’s also brilliant. It just fits for him to voice his disapproval on how the Dems behave in this time of crisis. Democrats are devoid of empathy, therefore, heartless. They only think of themselves, what’s in it for us.

I hope that he will go far in the political arena someday. Maybe a Republican president down the line. You may disagree with me, but hey, that’s my opinion.
