You may not know who the heck Carl Reimer is, but it’s what he did that will have you stunned.
If you’re a gun owner, this video will enrage you. The sheer stupidity is beyond reproach. I didn’t know who this guy was, but after I watched the video and his follow up comments, I thought it was worth sharing with you. If anything, it shines a light on just how ignorant some people are when it comes to gun safety and what little respect they show the weapon.
I’ll set up the story.
Carl is a “gamer” who has carved out a lucrative career for himself over the past several years, gaming online and being a well-known personality whose videos are very popular. He was under contract with an online gaming organization called Soar Gaming and streamed on a platform called “Twitch.”
However, he did something so incredibly stupid, that within seconds, everything he worked for was gone.
Reiner was “live streaming” when he “accidentally” (foolishly) fired a handgun in his bedroom – and it was all caught on video.
You can watch the video below:
Guns are not toys. Always assume they’re loaded even if you “swear [you] just emptied the mag” and never pull the trigger unless you’re aiming at a target. https://t.co/5s3fi2OZ3j [2]

After this video aired, he was immediately dropped by “Soar Gaming,” and was banned from the “Twitch” platform where he’s worked for years.
His “live streaming” days are over.
After he lost it all, Carl made a video, apologizing again for what he did.
Don't do what I did. Ever. Literally everything was going perfectly in life and one mistake ruined everything I've been doing for year. I cannot put into words how sorry I am and how dangerous what I did last night was. pic.twitter.com/O781ecXxJN [4]

It all happened yesterday, while Carl Riemer the famous trick shooter on CoD fired a gun while streaming drunk. Of course, this got the immediate attention from Twitch and he was banned immediately. Things did not stop there, apparently, Carl Riemer is removed from the SoaR Gaming roster as well. Riemer announced an apology and acknowledged his mistake. This was a very wrong move and a definite breach of rules set by Twitch. Carl Riemer has more than 800,000 subscribers on Youtube. Of course, after this, he released also an apology video and thanked Soar Gaming for doing what they were supposed to do. [The Game Post [6]]
This is what you get for showboating and using a loaded weapon as a “toy.”
It sounds like Carl has learned a lesson the hard way. Let’s hope that he swings by his local NRA chapter and gets some gun safety tips. He really shouldn’t handle a gun until he completes a course.
