Some Americans feel stripping away constitutional rights for an emergency that is not an emergency is an unconstitutional act. There will likely be class action lawsuits against governors for their unlawful conduct during this fake crisis.

According to the latest numbers, 0.000043% of the population is infected. That is a statistical anomaly. I love how they keep harping that the infection rate has “doubled”. Well, two become four; that’s doubled. And I will tell you, we’ve had this thing since November. Remember the really bad flu season we had at that time? My point being we are crashing our economy And trying to “bend the curve” over a curve that barely registers on a graph. They keep throwing these outrageous numbers at us, and they just do not add up. I’ve tried running them every way possible, and They do not add up to the levels they are claiming.
Further, our medical system and sanitary habits will, by default, blunt the rate of infection. I was against all this from the beginning, and my stance hasn’t changed. This does not justify destroying businesses and livelihoods.
Based on anecdotal evidence, it is likely that a FAR LARGER percentage of the population is, or has been infected… MANY MORE will become infected.
The more important issue seems to be, of those infected, how many will actually become seriously ill? At this point, it appears that the number is likely to be quite small. Of those who have, or may become seriously ill, it seems that nearly all who succumb are elderly and/or already quite ill with cardio-pulmonary disease or a seriously compromised immune system (and likely to die soon from something).

It is easy to identify the great majority of those and provide them with “protection” in the form of “quarantine-like” shelter, medical observation, and extended care services. Beyond that, and educating the public about the risks and personal mitigation strategies, this whole “shutdown” of business and public life is, IMHO, completely unwarranted and likely unlawful.
It will do far more economic, social, and possibly health harm to the American population than the virus could ever do. Even the direst projections for infection and mortality fall within, and in most cases FAR LESS, than what is expected from the common, seasonal flu. There is no great outcry for such draconian measures in dealing with flu, the deaths are just “expected” and accepted as the norm.

Let’s also remember, 80% percent of pharmaceutical drugs in the U.S. market are manufactured in China, If the communist Chinese would withhold drugs from us during a pandemic, think what they could do to during a conflict. Time to bring all critical manufacturing home, stop outsourcing drugs, military supplies, and parts, etc.
No communist can be trusted, especially the ones who currently have residency in our Capital.
