I know it seems that Pres. Trump is all over the map on this, but at least he’s showing signs he can adjust his thinking on national emergencies.
There are still too many people not paying attention to social distancing by having parties for spring break and coming back home to infect others. Any age can get this virus, and not everyone that has it is showing symptoms.

As much as people don’t like this President, he showed today that he truly listens to his advisers and does not want the situation to get worse. He is not someone who readily listens to others, but I truly believe he knows that there are far more knowledgable people advising him. Look I want this over yesterday, but this is the safest thing to do
I appreciate Trump’s willingness to express hope for an end to the social distancing by Easter, but his ability to listen to experts and announce a willingness to announce their perception of what is to be required. I think extending another month, rather than the several months that many believe may be required, is a way to maintain some hope amid an unknown circumstance.
Everyone could say it will be months, but if people adhere to the distancing better than some other areas have around the world, we could have a return sooner than expected. Everyone listens to the more dire predictions that cannot be avoided if you listen to the daily news on ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC.
It is nice to have a slant toward the more positive and reasoned.

We just might of go until May 30 and Close all American public and private Education schools and start summer early. Why stress our children who are used to being in a school environment rather than a home-schooled one. As it is, the graduating class of 2020 won’t have Proms, won’t go on Senior Trips, visit Colleges, and all the fun things that come with a Senior Year. Sorry, this happened to many of them. It bites, but if we are to be socially distanced and have no kind of face to face interaction, we might as well just close up shop and stay home until it is safe to be back out and about.
The President stated that it was his “HOPE” that Easter might be a possibility! In all reality, and my opinion, it seems that it will be more line Mid May or even June before we can relax. The FACT is we are dealing with an unknown and a historical event. We will all come through this together when that happens (a chance to move on).
