Mini Mike didn’t do too well on Super Tuesday despite the fact that his campaign has spent more than
$500 million dollars to buy votes. His ads have been everywhere. You can’t watch a TV show or YouTube cat video without seeing a Bloomberg ad.

And how many texts have you received from his 2400 staff members? At least those will stop.
Democrats didn’t come out in masses (or even in dozens) to vote for Mini Mike and now he’s in the
graveyard of unappealing, objectionable and unwanted Democratic presidential candidates. He’s out.
Not that he was ever in.

Besides having awful debates and being a repugnant Democratic candidate to women and African
Americans, Bloomberg has no personality and on several occasions has endorsed Trump policies.
Not exactly a Democratic dream candidate.

He kept telling everyone that being president is a management job. Well, Mr. Manager, most people
at the helm of a company wouldn’t spend their business into oblivion on expenses and end up with no
service or product that the people want or need. That’s not good management. But in the end, at least
you finally realized you didn’t have a product to sell and you cut your losses.

But hey – congrats on winning American Samoa! Although, once again, bad management. You could
have bought the island for less money than you spent getting their votes.

Usually, I get pretty irritated when someone tells someone else how to spend their time and money.
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, hobbies and charities they support.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

By completing the poll, you agree to receive emails from SteveGruber.com, occasional offers from our partners and that you've read and agree to our privacy policy and legal statement.

But politicians are different. I don’t mind talking about how politicians spend their time and money
because it’s always to benefit themselves. If an American citizen gets helped along the way, it’s
usually just pure luck. Politicians are elitist ego maniacs, always making promises but never intending
to fulfill them. They claim to care about people and issues but they really care about votes and
donations.

If politicians, including Bloomberg, really cared about making the world a better place, they’d use all of
their time and money doing philanthropy work instead of being in politics.

Of course, some crafty politicians try to do both like Hillary Clinton. She set up a fake foundation so
that it could be a clearinghouse for bribes and quid pro quo.

Have you noticed that even though she doesn’t have a real job, she’s not devoting all of her time to
her foundation? Yes, we know why. It’s not useful to her anymore.

But back to Mini Mike…

So Mini Mike has spent more than $500 million on campaign expenses, mostly on media buys.
Estimates vary on how much he’s actually spent by now, but for the sake of this article, we’ll go with
$500 million.

Bloomberg is making America great by being involved in a lot of capitalism, filling the coffers of media
companies. Not really helping all the issues and causes he says he cares about though.

Sure, he has talked about giving a lot of money to charity but there is so much more he could have
done with $500 million.

Let’s take a look at Mini Mike’s website and what he cares about and see how he could have spent
$500 million on better things than YouTube ads.

We’ll start out with Bloomberg’s climate change concerns and environmental justice campaign. For
$500 million, he could have planted 100 million trees with the Plant a Tree Foundation.

Mike also cares about health care. There are plenty of people who need EpiPens for their diabetes problems. With $500 million, Mike could have bought more than 1.5 million EpiPens for cash-strapped Americans.

Bloomberg could have combined his interest in women’s rights and education by offering a year’s
worth of college at the University of Michigan for 16,000 women. That would cover a year of tuition,
fees, housing, meals, books, supplies and other expenses.

What about gun safety? He seems quite concerned about that. Having a trigger gun lock is a great
safety measure for any gun owner to have. The pricing for these is all over the place but Bloomberg
could have definitely “shelled out” his millions and bought more than 27 million trigger gun locks and
handed them out for free to gun owners. How many accidental shootings could he have prevented?

Bloomberg also wants to reduce everyone’s carbon footprint. Well, besides the fact that he could stop
flying on airplanes and riding in SUVs (Democrats will never do that), he could have bought 20,554
new Prius Hybrid Electric Sedans for people who are driving around in huge gas guzzling trucks. I like
the electric storm blue the best. Let’s get those out there.

What else could he have done that is currently more urgent than showing his face all over TV and the
internet?

Well, for $500 million, he could have bought about 357,000 face masks for health care workers.

He could have bought more than 166 million cheeseburger happy meals for the homeless.

He could have bought 16 million 24-packs of water for the tornado victims in Tennessee. Or bought
3,300 of them a new house.

Can you imagine that kind of power? To be able to help people when you wanted to at the drop of a
hat. Too bad he didn’t decide to use his power and money in a better way.

But hey, You Tube and CNN and all those really cash-strapped media companies got to live large off
Mini Mike and probably will continue to as he continues his anti-Trump campaign instead of starting a
pro-American campaign of charity and compassion.
