Report: Pearl Jam Blames Trump for Having to Cancel Their Tour

By Sophie O’Hara | March 11, 2020

Pearl Jam, which is fronted by far-left singer Eddie Vedder, canceled their recent tour dates in light of coronavirus, say that business and schools have closed in Seattle and they’re just playing by the same tune.

In a “postponement announcement” posted on social media Monday, the Seattle-based band explained why they came to the decision to call off the tour, for now. “As residents of the city of Seattle, we’ve been hit hard and have witnessed firsthand how quickly these disastrous situations can escalate,” the first post in a 10-tweet thread reads. “Our kids’ schools have closed along with universities and businesses. It’s been brutal and it’s gonna get worse before it gets better.” [The Daily Wire [1]]

Then they, of course, they had to make the decision political and promptly blamed Trump having to cancel because his administration is essentially not working hard enough to “control” the disease.

The popular ’90s band then worked in a shot at the Trump administration. “It certainly hasn’t helped that there’s been no clear messages from our government regarding people’s safety and our ability to go to work,” they state. “Having no examples of our national health department’s ability to get ahead of this, we have no reason to believe that it will be under control in the coming weeks ahead.” [The Daily Wire [1]]

Good grief…

How do liberals somehow make every situation political?

It’s truly astounding.

Of course, this is no shock coming from Pear Jam, as lead singer Eddie Vedder has shown his complete repulsion for President Trump recently, saying he’s “crazy like a narcissistic motherfucker.”

Eddie Vedder had some strong words about Donald Trump last night (June 13) during Pearl Jam’s performance at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands, saying, “I don’t think he’s crazy like a fox…I think he’s like, crazy like a narcissistic motherfucker.” Fan-filmed footage can be seen above of the frontman making the statement while introducing the band’s latest single, “Can’t Deny Me,” which is widely considered to be about the President of the United States, though Vedder stressed, sarcastically, that the song has nothing to do with Trump.

“We got one for ya, and it has nothing to do with, let’s say someone like Donald Trump,” he says. “Absolutely has nothing to do with that… I wouldn’t want to waste my breath. But it is interesting you know; how does it feel when you’ve got a world leader that insults all of your allies and, kind of, people with good intentions representing their people. But then he gets along famously with dictators and despots. I don’t know what to make of that. That’s just really disturbing. And I don’t think he’s crazy like a fox…I think he’s like, crazy like a narcissistic motherfucker. Anyway, this song is not about him!” [Loud Wire [3]]

These West-Coast elitists just really need to keep their yap shut when it comes to far-left politics and just play music.

Did they not learn anything from the Dixie Chicks?
