On Tuesday, Pres. Trump joined the daily White House coronavirus update to reassure the country that the actions being taken by the federal government will result in the United States beating the virus.
On Monday, Pres. Trump announced new guidelines over top of the CDC guidelines, limiting public gatherings to 10 people and strongly encouraged everyone to stop eating in restaurants or food courts and patronizing bars.
Several cities across the nation, including New York City, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., have implemented mandatory closures of dining in restaurants. Additionally, establishments can remain open for takeout.

“One day we’ll be standing, possibly up here, and we’ll say, ‘Well, we won. We’re going to say that, sure are you’re sitting there, we’re going to say that.”

“If people do what we’re telling them to do we’ll save a lot of lives. We are looking to save the maximum number of lives. Everything is going to come back. The economy is going to come roaring back…it’s all pent up. I think we’ll have an economy like never before.”
