Joel Osteen Shares Powerful Message Of Hope Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

With all the negativity and fear in the world today surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, it is difficult to stay positive and stay hopeful for the future. That’s why it’s so great that Pastor Joel Osteen and other faith leaders are speaking out to give people some powerful messages of hope to get through this difficult time.

While talking to Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday,” Osteen offered his advice on how to get through this uncertain period.

“There is a lot of negativity and reason to worry and be afraid, but I think that’s when we have to make that choice to live from a place of peace and not a place of fear,” Osteen said. “God, you’ve got us through in the past and you’ll get us through again.”

Other faith leaders have spoken out to offer similar messages of hope, including Reverend Franklin Graham, who is the son of the legendary Reverend Billy Graham [2].

“This is an opportunity for people to turn their hearts to God,” he told Fox News [3]. “I want everyone to have the peace that comes from knowing that their sins are forgiven and that they have the hope of Heaven.

“This wonderful message is for a world that is scared, frightened, hunkered down, not knowing what to do next,” Graham added. “There is solid ground and it’s at the foot of the cross. You don’t need to be afraid when you put your faith and trust in God’s Son Jesus Christ. He loves you, He made you, He knows everything about your life. He is with us when we go through the storms of life.”

Greg Laurie, an evangelical pastor who is the founder of the Harvest churches in California and Hawaii and Harvest Crusades, urged people to remember that God will get us through this crisis just as he has countless others.

“We need to remember that God is greater than the coronavirus,” Laurie said. “You may know Jesus, but you will never know Him deeply until He comes to you in the midst of the storms of life. COVID-19 is a massive storm we are all going through. It’s better to be in a storm with Jesus than anywhere else without Him.”

It’s crises like this one that really put our faith to the test like never before. While it may not be easy at times, it’s important to keep the faith and remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest hours.
