We’ve been hearing some crazy stories coming out of Italy, especially with the death toll due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus).
On Tuesday, the country’s death toll surged again with 743 recorded in one day. This was after a couple of days of positive news. Many felt the virus only touched the elderly but as of late, we’ve been learning differently.
Daniela Trezzi learned she had contracted the virus and at age 34, she committed suicide. According to reports, she felt she was the reason why patients were getting sick at the hospital and couldn’t deal.

A nurse working on the frontline of the coronavirus has killed herself after testing positive for the deadly bug and feared she may have infected others.
The National Federation of Nurses of Italy expressed its ‘pain and dismay’ at her death, as the 34-year-old nurse tested positive for coronavirus after spending time working on the intensive care ward at the San Gerardo hospital in Monza, few miles away from Milan, but showed symptoms of the coronovirus and her test came out positive.
Daniela Trezzi had felt bad with the number of dead on the rise again yesterday, while she also feared she may have been spreading the virus while trying to bring the crisis under control.
The general manager of San Gerardo hospital, Mario Alparone , said Daniela had been at home sick since March 10, and that ‘she was not under surveillance’.
Judicial authorities are now investigating her death, according to local media.
