I have already accepted the fact that as a liberty-loving originalist that I am marked for literal death by the American left. The rest who are not so up to speed, the elite want to destroy their belief in their self-reliance. I fear now they are succeeding.
In my youth, I hung out with enough Leftists to understand that yes, they do have originalist, classical Liberals like me marked for death.

And yes, the Left and the national elites who share their essential values, intend to destroy the country. As long as they think they can get total control of the wreckage, they’ll be happy to do it.
Each day we tune into each governor’s presser to hear what freedoms we’ve lost that day, and most of us blindly accept it as necessary and expedient. We’ve had much deadlier viral outbreaks than this, but our insatiable desire for security over liberty is becoming our undoing.
The media and government officials will crow that their actions saved millions of lives when the predicted catastrophic deaths do not occur. But they will have successfully trained Americans to accept without draconian complaint restrictions imposed by the government. You can bet they will repeat this in many ways to implement their will in the future like maybe the green new deal, for example?
The number of total deaths in the US at this point is about 1200. While I would never try to minimize people dying, the question is whether the catastrophic scenario projected in the media will happen — meaning much higher numbers. I don’t think it will. All respiratory viruses die down in summer – as they are killed by the increased UV light of longer days and more time spent outdoors.

It’s frustrating knowing that there is a microscopic bug out there, floating around in the air, or resting on a package, that can kill you in a matter of days, all because China can’t teach its effing citizens basic effing hygiene. That and that multi-national businesses have jeopardized our nation’s well-being so that they can quadruple their profit margins.
A new virus could appear next week or next month or six months from now. We need to de-couple from China. We need to stop buying crap made in China and send a message to these companies. There is nobody better suited to lead the charge than Donald J. Trump.
This virus strikes quickly and violently. You are, I could have it and discover tomorrow that without Chloroquine, we will likely be dead in five days. The world needs to begin mass-producing that drug on a scale never before seen. I suspect it has a long shelf life so that it won’t be wasted.
It is high time we get angry and refuse to follow the sheep and the madness. And that includes refusing and even calling out the President and his mantra on “social distancing”. That concept is the foundation at the end of our society. The idea that if we simply get far enough away from everyone else, we will never encounter a germ. And every encounter with a germ might result in death.

That is a line of thinking so stupid it no intelligent person could accept it. Yet, most of the nation is accepting it, and the President is promoting. We should all tell Trump to “stop it right now” and get back to MAGA. There is no MAGA with social distancing and national economic shutdowns. None.
Fear will destroy our economy and our lives, which is why it is very important that promote peace wherever you can. Reassure those who are frightened, fight back against the media, and those who fearmonger. They do have an agenda, to tank the economy in hopes that Trump will not be reelected. Those of us with cooler heads need to encourage those in our sphere of influence.
Also, it is a perfect time to buy stock. When we rebound, whenever that is, those who buy low will make a killing! We did that in 2008 and did very, very well.
