It just shows that this virus can affect anyone.

It was only a matter of time – MPs have tested positive, he doesn’t keep social distance, he’s constantly around people and in different places and not sanitizing his hands frequently. Probably shaking hands too. He’ll get the best treatment, I’m sure, but yeah, anyone could have seen it coming.
I hope he gets well, and it shows that this disease can have mild symptoms rather than the bleak picture continuously being put out by the media.

In a video released on his Twitter account, Johnson said: “I have developed mild symptoms of the coronavirus, that’s to say a temperature and persistent cough.
“On the advice of the chief medical officer I have taken a test that has come out positive.
“But be in no doubt that I can continue, thanks to the wizardry of modern technology, to communicate with all my top team to lead the national fightback against coronavirus.”
A Downing Street spokeswoman said: “After experiencing mild symptoms yesterday, the Prime Minister was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Chris Whitty.
“The test was carried out in No 10 by NHS staff and the result of the test was positive. In keeping with the guidance, the Prime Minister is self-isolating in Downing Street. He is continuing to lead the government’s response to coronavirus.” [Yahoo News UK]

It’s a difficult situation, as I said earlier, anyone can get it. He’s out and about because he has to be. Meeting others, so it’s vitally important for him to try and remember what he preaches to us. On view on TV with lecterns close to each other etc., but, understandably, they have to also be in view on the television.
