Charlamagne Tha God is the wildly popular host of the syndicated “The Breakfast Club;” a radio show with a very large black audience that’s based out of New York City.

Charlamagne is a Southern young man and was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

He appeared on CNN with a very pointed question – why are Democrat voters in his home state supporting candidates like Biden and Bloomberg who have the most racist policies?

Recent polling from Quinnipiac shows that Biden is leading with black voters in South Carolina. Biden is polling at 27 percent with black voters and Bloomberg, who was recently rocked with a damning “Stop and Fisk” leaked video is at 22 percent.

“Old black people in South Carolina do love Joe Biden, but I would have to ask black voters the question — why do the old white men who have the most racist legislation toward black people, why are they the top two front-runners when it comes to black support? Joe Biden and Bloomberg,” Charlemagne said.

When asked why Biden was having success with black voters Charlamagne points to the “Barack Obama effect.”

Older folks love Obama and they see Biden as an extension of his presidency – even though Obama has refused to endorse Biden thus far.

On the flip side, Mike Bloomberg got the endorsement of the Mayor of South Carolina Steve Benjamin – who is the very first African American to hold that particular office.

Keep in mind that Bloomberg isn’t even participating in the South Carolina primary. His strategy is to use his billions to “buy” the Super Tuesday states.

The question now is will the black voters support a candidate like Biden or Bloomberg in the general election?

President Trump is actually enacting policies that are helping to uplift the black community, will the powerful black vote come out and support candidates with a deep and dark history of suppressing and destroying African Americans?
