The savage Senate Majority Leader recently appeared on Fox News’ “Special Report.”
When asked by host Bret Baier what he would do if a SCOTUS seat became “available” before the 2o2o election, his response was enough to send shivers up and down every communist spine.
“Yeah, we would fill it,” McConnell responded without batting an eyelash.
BOOM!
In truth, McConnell has been a beast when it comes to confirming judges.
Literally, minutes after impeachment was over, he was back to stuffing the courts with fantastic conservative judges.
With the weeks-long impeachment trial ending Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is wasting no time turning the chamber’s focus back to his self-professed top priority: confirming judicial nominations.
McConnell teed up five judicial nominations for votes on the Senate floor as the chamber wrapped up its work for the week.The Senate is expected to take its first procedural vote on the slate Monday evening, when Republicans will need a simple majority to end the debate on Andrew Brasher’s nomination to be a judge on the 11th Circuit. In all seriousness though, that poor woman should retire and spend her final golden moments with her family.
