When will these athletes learn to keep their dang mouth shut? Every time they get “political” it backfires in their face.
Just ask San Fransisco’s cornerback Richard Sherman who is getting absolutely pummeled online for his earlier comments stating he would likely not visit the White House.
This guy is now experiencing the dreaded #TrumpCurse in full-force.
When asked if he would go to the White House after a Super Bowl win the anti-Trump NFL’er said he doubted he would.

SF Gate [2] reported that taking a stand on a potential White House invitation before one wins a championship is like counting unhatched chickens. Nonetheless, the San Francisco Chronicle’s Scott Ostler posed the question to the Niners’ star cornerback.
“I haven’t thought about it,” Sherman replied, adding, “we’ve got a long way between now and then, but I doubt it.”
Sherman is now getting raked over the coals by Trump supporters who are relishing in his loss – and he deserves the shellacking:
