The 2016 election was incredible in so many ways.
Trump defeated the odds in a landslide victory against Hillary Clinton and America was able to give the “middle finger” to the GOP establishment.
But one major thing was missing – our beautiful first lady Melania Trump.
Melania did not appear on the 2016 campaign trail or 2018 midterms due to raising Barron, but according to reports, she’s ready to hit the scene in 2020.
First lady Melania Trump is headlining a pair of campaign events for her husband in the coming weeks.
Trump will headline two fundraisers in March, according to Politico. The first will take place on March 18 in Beverly Hills, California, and the second is scheduled for March 25 at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Melania Trump, 49, did not appear regularly on the campaign trail during the 2016 presidential election or the 2018 midterms, citing her role as a mother to 13-year-old Barron. One of the last big appearances she made on the campaign trail was days before the 2016 election in Pennsylvania at an event meant to appeal to white suburban women voters, during which she pledged to fight online bullying. Which is bad news for Democrats, who are already well behind President Trump in campaign fundraising:
President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign announced Thursday that it raised $46 million during the final three months of 2019 and had nearly $103 million on hand — a massive total at the start of the election year.
Trump is set to begin the general election with a vast financial advantage over whoever emerges from the Democratic presidential primary. The RNC has seven times the amount of cash on hand as its Democratic counterpart, and the president’s quarterly figure tops Bernie Sanders, who brought in $34.5 million, and Pete Buttigieg, who raised nearly $25 million. We all know cash wins elections and with this and the disastrous impeachment trial behind him, Trump is going to be unstoppable in 2020.
And Melania is going to be right by his side!
