Liberal website Mother Jones dug up an essay written by Bernie Sanders years ago that specifically dealt with naked children being allowed to see each other’s sexual organs and touching them in an attempt to ruin pornography.

Tim O’Brien, Bloomberg senior advisor, didn’t waste time in telling CNN’s Alisyn Camerota that his candidate would be coming out, swinging, after a poor performance during the last DNC debate. He also threw out a few nuggets, including the 1969 naked toddler essay bombshell by Sen. Bernie Sanders.

O’Brien brought up other passages that the media hasn’t called out Sanders. Bernie’s said a lot of stupid things that no one has held him accountable for. That’s about to change. Democrats and the media hold Republicans to different standards. What would be fatal for Republicans isn’t for a Democrat?

In a letter to the editor published in the Freeman in 1969, he called the growing disillusionment with public schooling “one of the most heartening signs in recent years,” and he remarked that “the basic function of the schools is [to] set up in children patterns of docility and conformity—patterns designed not to create independent and free adults, but adults who will obey orders, be ‘faithful’ uncomplaining employees, and ‘good’ citizens.” He took a similar tack in another essay, this one tongue in cheek, entitled “On Education.”

Treating children with kid gloves, he believed, was turning them into sexually repressed worker drones. In a 1969 essay in the Freeman, he wrote, “In Vermont, at a state beach, a mother is reprimanded by Authority for allowing her 6 month old daughter to go about without her diapers on. Now, if children go around naked, they are liable to see each others sexual organs, and maybe even touch them. Terrible thing! If we [raise] children up like this it will probably ruin the whole pornography business, not to mention the large segment of the general economy which makes its money by playing on peoples sexual frustrations.” [MotherJones]

This is the front runner for Dems. Please, for the love of god, make sure he wins the nomination.

100% guaranteed that the Trump campaign and supporters have done the opposition research on Sanders. Here is the problem. Trump is already very well known, in part because of his high profile on the TV show and in NYC. Sanders, despite being in the Congress for many years, really isn’t that well known. If he said this stuff even 40 years ago, it would come out.

Trump’s background has already been baked into the cake. Sanders’s background will be a new ingredient.

Bernie Sanders: What do you think it really means when 3 doctors, after intense study, write that ‘of the 26 patients (who developed breast cancer) below 51 (years of age), one was sexually adjusted.’ It means, very bluntly, that the manner in which you bring up your daughter with regard to sexual attitudes may very well determine whether or not she will develop breast cancer, among other things.

Sanders is a fruit loop and always has been. You can tell that just by looking at him, but these passages need to be explained and shouted down.

I am sure many want to protect Sanders from his writings. It would be shameful to mention Sanders wrote that all women fantasize about being gang-raped. Oh, and he also wants to kick 160 million people off their health insurance.

For the most part, Bernie has been insulated from having to answer for his statements because he’s genuinely never been challenged. Hillary Clinton didn’t take him seriously in 2016, so none of this came up, and being a Senator in a small media market – not much comes out in Vermont.
