More Winning for America – Trump Secures Los Angeles as Site for 2028 Summer Olympics

110,000 jobs and $18 billion to the local economy will be the result of Los Angeles hosting the 2028 Summer Olympics [1] thanks to President Trump’s persistence.

President Trump was in Los Angeles on Tuesday and talked about the games.

He said, “From the day I took office, I’ve done everything in my power to make sure that L.A. achieved the winning bid. Now for the third time in history, the city of Los Angeles, the city of Angels, will once again raise up the Olympic torch and welcome the world’s greatest competitors to the summer games. How exciting. The United States has won more Olympic medals than any other nation. We’ll never stop our relentless pursuit of excellence. I’m confident that Team USA will build on the winning tradition in Tokyo later this year, and in Paris in 2024 and then in Los Angeles in 2028.”

President Trump also promised that the government will provide assistance with security, transportation support, telecommunications and other services for the Olympics. He said, “You need the support of the federal government to make it really work.”

During his speech on the preparations for the Olympics, he also talked about the failure of Los Angeles politicians to take care of their city’s homelessness problem.

President Trump said that if Los Angeles doesn’t “clean it up fast,” he will intervene. “If they can’t do it themselves, we’re going to do it. The federal government is going to take it over, we’re going to do it.”

There are an estimated 36,000 homeless people in Los Angeles. Besides the people, there is trash, feces, rats and syringes on the streets.

Recently, Democrat Mayor Garretti actually admitted that there is a crisis [2] because of the obvious urgent public health threat that the homeless people are creating due to the lack of toilets. The immediate health threat was reported back in 2012 but little was done.

Will the Olympics (or Trump’s threats) get the Democrats moving to finally clean up the city? Only time will tell.
