This is one of those times that you realize that God is on your side and it’s not your time yet.

A closed-circuit camera caught a man arguing with his wife and then pulling out a gun, pointing it at his wife’s head and pulling the trigger. It just so happened that the gun jammed and she wasn’t hit, even though the guy did discharge, but that was after another man had pushed the husband out of the way

The husband, Etiermerson de Souza Mourais fled the scene but was later arrested for attempted murder. According to reports, he fired four shots at her head and missed.

Etiermerson de Souza Mourais the deranged 31-year-old man who foiled his attempt to murder his wife after the gun he used for the horrendous crime was jammed four times while they were in a shop in Itacoatira, Brazil.

The terrifying attack was captured by an establishment security camera and the footage shows the subject leaning towards the store counter as he pretends to have a conversation with customers, when he unexpectedly pulls out his gun and points towards the woman’s head.

The subject attempts to shoot his partner at point-blank range, but his weapon is locked and he is seen by a witness with whom he initiates a struggle; at that very moment the device fires a bullet into the air. Fortunately, the woman came out unscathed. [Larepublica]
