The Assyrian people in Iraq are Christians, the root of the first Christians who still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus. The Assyrians have lived in their ancestral lands since the days of Christ, having been persecuted for their faith by the Roman Empire to present-day ISIS.

After their homes and cities were destroyed by war with ISIS and countries fighting ISIS, the Assyrian people once again are being forced to have their community threaten by a facility being built to relocate ISIS wives, widows and children; the local Gov and citizens have protested to deaf ears.

Many of these ISIS wives are from foreign countries who refuse to take them back and deal with them so they are forced upon the very people they terrorized.
