Today was an absolute bloodbath at the impeachment trial when Trump’s defense lawyers took the stage and destroyed the Dems arguments one by one.
Republican Senators were delighted to see the tide shift in Trump’s direction, but Senator Barrasso’s reaction was the best where he stated that the “blood drained” from Adam Schiff’s face when Trump’s lawyers read aloud the cringeworthy parody call between Trump and Zelensky that Schiff created.

Who here wishes they could hear Schiff ready that parody call?
It sounds absolutely appalling.
Schiff originally came under fire for his “parody” call in September 2019, where he was lambasted for adlibbing the president and later called it a parody.
Trump’s comments refer to Schiff’s statement preceding the Sept. 26 testimony [6] of Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire. The day before, the White House had released a memo of Trump’s July 25 phone call [7] with Ukrainian President Zelensky, a call that is highlighted in an Aug. 12 whistleblower complaint [7] against the president. The memo shows Trump asked Zelensky to investigate Biden and Biden’s son, Hunter.
In the Sept. 26 House hearing, Schiff gave [8] his own spin on the memo, saying this was “the essence of what the president communicates” in his call with Zelensky “in not so many words.”
Later in the same hearing, Schiff said the summary “was meant to be at least part in parody.” [Fact Check [9]]
Schiff and the rest of the Democrats are looking more and more foolish as the days go on in this impeachment proceeding, and it’s about to get way worse once Trump’s lawyers have free reign on Monday.
