In the video below, the suspect’s vehicle was spotted in a work zone by an unsuspecting couple.
State police troopers were able to arrest Miguel Rodriguez who earlier had kidnapped Charlotte Moccia in broad daylight. Troopers confirmed the Moccia was in the backseat of the car at the time of the arrest.
According to reports, Moccia was abducted six hours before her rescue. At the time of this article, Rodriguez’s charges have not yet announced.

Rodriguez’s family told Telemundo that he suffers from schizophrenia and does not take his medication regularly. They also apologized to Moccia’s family. Initially, investigators said they were searching for two people in connection to the abduction and a woman may have been involved.
Troopers later clarified that Rodriguez was the sole suspect in connection to the kidnapping.
Miguel Rodriguez, 24, of Springfield, was held without bail in the abduction of Charlotte Moccia, who was found Wednesday evening, two hours after the Amber Alert was issued.
State Police said they received a 911 call at about 7:15 p.m. from Amanda Disley and her husband who reported reported seeing a car that matched the description of Rodriguez’s vehicle on Interstate 90 east in the area of Warren and Brimfield.
The troopers were able to spot the suspect vehicle and stopped it in a work zone. They found Charlotte in the back seat and instantly removed her from the vehicle. Rodriguez was taken out at gunpoint after troopers say they spotted a knife in the pocket of the driver’s side door.
Investigators say he used a folding knife to threaten the girl: “Mr. Rodriguez pointed a knife at her and told her that if she screamed or tried to escape that he would kill her,” according to court papers.
Rodriguez is being held without bail and he will undergo a mental health evaluation. WCVB found two prior restraining orders taken out against him, one of them by his own mother. [WCVB]

What a great couple! Sometimes you do have to get involved. As a human being its the right thing.
I hope the people in their town appreciate the quality kind of people that live among them. They saved a little girl from a horrible if not fatal fate. Sometimes people cannot afford to keep 1/2 tank of gas. But they used their lite mite to help the police. I hope the family gets some kind of reward and recognition.
