Trey Gowdy believes that the Bidens are relevant witnesses to call during President Trump’s Senate impeachment trial.
Most sane people can agree with that.
However, Gowdy took it a step further and claims that failed former President Barack Hussien Obama is also a relevant witness to call – and should be called.
Gowdy explains that if Biden is a relevant witness for his “quid pro quo” comments on video then so is Obama.
Gowdy said he would want to know whether or not Biden had the authority of the president at the time he made that pronouncement that there’ll be no loan guarantees unless the prosecutor is fired.

Gowdy’s comments referred to the infamous comments made by Biden when he publicly bragged about how he threatened to withhold U.S. funds for Ukraine if a prosecutor investigating the company his son worked for was not fired.
“Every time that clip plays of Joe Biden, I just think of more reasons that he is relevant as a witness if the Senate wants to go that route,” Gowdy said.
Hannity noted that this was a good point which “very few people” make, asking if Obama was “in on this shakedown” by Biden.

President Trump’s legal team has vowed to go after the Biden boys during their case, which begins Saturday.
Trump Attorney Jay Sekulow says this will not be a “rebuttal,” it’ll be an all-out assault.
It’s still not known if witnesses will be called.
