US economic data came in mixed today with the service sector continuing strong surprises to the upside, and manufacturing, although still growing, reported slightly less than estimates predicted.
Financial Markets swooned to the downside today as the 2nd case of coronavirus was confirmed in the United States.
Markit Manufacturing PMI (Jan) PREL printed at 51.7 vs consensus estimates of 52.5.
Markit Services PMI (Jan) PREL printed at 53.2 vs estimates of 52.9.
Markit PMI Composite (Jan) PREL printed at 53.1 vs estimate of 52.5.
