There isn’t a more insufferable, useless dope in Congress than Mitt Romney.
This man is a relic of a bygone political era ruled by failed globalists and neocon warmongers who led our soldiers to slaughter in order to line the pockets of their defense contract donors.
Political sociopaths like Mitt Romney took the hardworking middle-class and murdered it – and then disposed of the bodies in a rusty old woodchipper and laughed while America’s working class was shredded to smithereens.
That’s how little Romney and his ilk care about the average working-class American.

So, it’s no wonder that a ghoulish politician like Mitt would relish the idea of making our America First President’s impeachment trial more of a headache than it has to be.
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) claims he has an “open mind” about joining Democrats to call witnesses during the Senate impeachment trial against President Donald Trump that starts tomorrow.
“Deciding whether or not a sitting president should be removed from office is perhaps the most solemn matter that can ever come before the United States Senate. I enter this task with an open mind and a recognition of my solemn responsibility to fulfill my oath,” Romney said in a grandstanding statement to his constituents.
While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) wants to quickly end the impeachment farce to focus on actual problems that matter to the American public, Romney wants the grueling process to linger on. He claims that the Democrat-led witch hunt against the President is “extremely serious.”
“These allegations demand that the Senate put political biases aside, and make good faith efforts to listen to arguments from both sides and thoroughly review facts and evidence,” Romney said.
Romney wants the decision regarding whether or not witnesses will be called during the trial to be held off until after opening arguments are made, perhaps hoping for details to emerge that will give him political cover to work with the Democrats. [Big League Politics [2]]
Clearly Mitt is looking for an “angle” to be able to help the Dems. All he needs is a crumb from them during opening arguments and he’ll be off to the races.
As a former resident of Utah, I say shame on them for electing this complete waste-of-space to the Senate. We’d have been better off with a Democrat in that spot, who would at least have the God-given common sense to work with GOP in order to keep his seat. Instead, we’re stuck with the GOP geriatric version of loser “Jeff Flake.”
