After spending tens of millions on investigations, the Mueller Circus and the impeachment reality TV program, the Democrats are faced with a weak case against President Trump. The U.S. Senate will examine these facts:

• The president of Ukraine stated that he was never threatened.
• No funds were ever withheld. Ukraine received all the allocated money.
• No investigation of Hunter Biden ever took place by any government.

Pelosi knows she is holding a losing hand but she is too proud and legitimately stupid to fix the course she’s laid in for herself. Right now, Pelosi is claiming that if the Senate doesn’t come to the same conclusion that the Democratic-led House did, there is a cover-up. What a bunch of cockamamie.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Monday tore into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., just days after the speaker backed down from her refusal to send the articles of impeachment against President Trump to the Senate, calling Pelosi’s delay a “strange gambit” that “produced absolutely nothing.”

During a speech on the Senate floor, McConnell chastised Pelosi for ending what he called “her one-woman blockade” and questioned her strategy for holding off sending the articles to the Senate.

The House in December voted to impeach Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress for matters relating to his controversial July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the subsequent House inquiry.

Pelosi had held up sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, citing concerns about McConnell’s objectivity and the lack of ability to call witnesses to testify in the trial in hopes of winning concessions from Republicans. But McConnell refused to give in. [Fox News]

The Democrats will suffer at the polls for their hoax impeachment based on hearsay evidence and personal opinions from liberal Trump enemies. No real evidence was presented at all. The whole impeachment process was a hoax against the American people and was done because the democrats do not have a candidate who can beat Trump in the 2020 elections. The impeachment was and is a democrat attempt to influence the elections. Shame on “Funny Face” Pelosi, Adam “Shifty” Schiff and the whole democrat party.

Here is what the Senate will do. As soon as the articles of impeachment are delivered and the charges read, a motion will be introduced to dismiss as there are no crimes listed to try for impeachment. Chief Justice John Roberts will review the motion and as a presiding judge, he will find the articles of impeachment defective and will dismiss. That will end forever the House contention that they can impeach a president for any reason they want.

A president may be impeached for treason, bribery or other high crimes (felonies) and misdemeanors. The house impeached him for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Those are not impeachable reasons stated in the constitution. The obstruction of congress charge is simply because the Democrats would not go through the legal process, through the federal courts, to see if their subpoenas were valid.

There is no obstruction unless the administration didn’t comply with subpoenas if after going through the court process the subpoenas were lawful and valid. The abuse of power is because Democrats are upset that the executive branch now run by a Republican is setting the foreign policy and Democrats don’t want a Republican to have that power.

There was only one fact witness with direct knowledge in the house’s impeachment inquiry (Sondland) and he stated he had no evidence of Trump committing an impeachable offense. Not a single one of the other witnesses, when asked directly to raise their hands if they had any direct knowledge that Trump had committed treason, bribery or other crimes, raised their hands. The president not being liked is not an impeachable offense.

This impeachment will not result in a conviction, but it’ll be a permanent stain on the Democrats, and it will ensure Trump is reelected in 2020.
