The jig is up. Hillary Clinton has taken a primarily ceremonial five-year post as chancellor at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This would seem to indicate that she is officially out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination for 2020.
The move raises several questions, the first of which is, does the United States have an extradition treaty with Ireland? In all seriousness, the Durham report is, according to Attorney General Bill Barr, due to be released in the late spring or early summer. Could Northern Ireland be a legal hedge? The answer is no. The U.S. maintains a bilateral extradition treaty with Ireland.
The next question: why Ireland?
Clinton has no Irish or Northern Irish ancestry. She does have English, Welsh, Scottish, French, and French-Canadian ancestry. And, as reported by Perche-Quebec, “…in her [2003] autobiography Living History[1], Hillary Rodham Clinton describes her maternal grandmother, Della Murray, as ‘one of nine children from a family of French Canadian, Scottish and Native American ancestry’.“

To be fair, Hillary hasn’t shamelessly used this apocryphal nugget to further her career as Elizabeth Warren did, but it’s amusing to witness their shared penchant for mythic heightening.
Hillary isn’t Irish…but she is “Fauxcahontas Too.” Her claims of Native American ancestry have likewise never been proven. As Perche-Quebec concludes, “Regarding the claimed Native American ancestry, no records have been found to support this statement and the genealogist E.H. Hail published in 2015 an article largely based on work by William Addams Reitwiesner[3] which proves that Hillary Clinton has no Amerindian ancestry[4].”
Meanwhile, in sunny Belfast…
Perhaps there is a different lure to Belfast for Clinton. She was honored in 2012 with a lifetime achievement award from the Ireland Funds for her support of Northern Ireland. The Ireland Funds is a pro-Northern Ireland philanthropy responsible for raising over $430 million.
Hillary visited Northern Ireland seven times as First Lady, four times with Bill, three times solo. (Bill was the first U.S. president to visit the infamously war-torn region, which was a big deal at the time.) Belfast was also Hillary’s final foreign stop as Secretary of State, as this State Dept. link shows. As we’ve seen with Joe Biden, who made Ukraine his final port of call as VPOTUS, last stops before the conclusion of an official governmental role can signify a great deal.
Any nefarious purpose for Clinton’s choice of Northern Ireland as a hideout new residence is all speculation for now, but something about this stinks. CD Media will continue to dig for answers.
