On Sunday, MSNBC’s “AM Joy” was reporting on Richard V. Spencer, the former Navy secretary who was fired by Pres. Trump about the demotion of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher.

But host, Joy-Ann Reid replaced Spencer’s picture with white supremacist Richard Spencer in another feeble attempt to associate white supremacy with Pres. Trump’s name.

Reid claimed, “We are very deeply sorry for that mistake,” shortly before ending the segment, but then again, that’s MSNBC for you. Maybe it’s a Freudian slip. The military is probably the same as the white supremacists or the Third Reich to them. Next, they’ll show pictures of the Nazis marching into Paris during the Veterans Day coverage.

Here is the correction:

Reid and her panel were discussing a Washington Post op-ed written by former Sec. Spencer in which he criticized Trump’s intervention in the court-martial of Navy Seal Gallagher, who was found guilty of multiple war crimes.

Anyone that thinks this wasn’t a mistake is on a drug-induced trip. There’s no way Reid and her producers and executive producers keep making these mistakes, being paid the vast amounts of money for these network shows.

NOTE: I would give you a background on Spencer, the white supremacist, but I don’t give space to that type of hate on this website.

Gallagher was stripped of his SEAL Trident status and demoted to petty officer first class after he posed for a photo with a teenage ISIS fighter’s corpse. Trump reversed the demotion.

“The Navy will NOT be taking away Warfighter and Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher’s Trident Pin. This case was handled very badly from the beginning. Get back to business!” Trump tweeted last week.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper fired Spencer after he went outside the chain of command to request a further review process of Gallagher’s SEAL based on Pres. Trump’s request for Gallagher to keep his status.

Spencer did acknowledge he was wrong to go outside the chain of command, but he also slammed Trump’s intervention as a “shocking and unprecedented intervention in a low-level review.”

MSNBC Reid and the rest of the animals at the trough are just that angry at Pres. Trump and his followers. Whether or not it’s associating Trump with white supremacy or his followers as a cult, the network is going into overdrive with their abuse of Americans.
