Friday’s impeachment hearing star witness was former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovich.
It’s not fully clear why she was there to testify – except to whine about losing her ambassadorship.
President Trump transitioned Yovanovich out of her ambassador role because she was a “partisan” who did not have his best interests at heart. That is his prerogative. After all, back in 2008, Obama fired every single George W. Bush ambassador.

Yovanovich was moved over to the State Department where she works today.
Marie #Yovanovitch [2] was removed from her post as Ambassador to Ukraine.
She's still a State Dept. employee and a fellow at Georgetown.
Trump didn't "fire" her. He simply transferred her.

The former ambassador was not on the Ukraine call that is at the center of this “impeachment.” We’ve all read the transcript for dozens of times, anyway.

She’s never met President Trump and she has no knowledge of any crimes he may have committed, so why exactly was she there testifying?

I think the point of her testimony was to cry and seem “sad” so the Dems could score sympathy points.
President Trump was correct in removing her. And if these reports I am going to tell you about are correct, it further proves why Trump transferred her.
OANN is reporting that Ms. Yovanovich was planning a “victory party” for President Clinton back in 2016 and had sent out the invitations.

Reporter Chanel Rion, asks the question “Did you or did you not have a victory party planned for Hillary Clinton while you were ambassador?@OANN [6] just spoke with a source who has the invites…”
Ms. Yovanovich opened her testimony by claiming she was a “non-partisan” player, which sounds like a stretch.

Adding to that story is another claim – this time from President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani who claims there are at least five Ukraine officials who are willing to testify that Ms. Yavonovich’s embassy was so partisan and so pro-Hillary Clinton that it was actually nicknamed “Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Center.”
Once again, what we have here is another unelected government bureaucrat who doesn’t like President Trump or his foreign policy and they’re lashing out.
