He didn’t plan for his life to pan out like this but Guy Bryant isn’t just a regular man.

He grew up in a household where his parents looked out for the kids in the neighborhood and were constantly taking care of them so consider this fate.

Bryant took in his very first foster child while working as a community coordinator for Administration for Children’s Services.

Bryant said that he remembers the child asking him, “would you consider being my dad?”

At first, Bryant was hesitant to commit due to his own life circumstances but end the end, he decided it was the best thing to do.

Since then, Bryant has taken in more than 50 young men. Many who have aged out of the system.

One of his foster children Dior Dillion says, “He’s the closest thing to a father figure in my life.”

“Before I came here I was doing a lot of crazy stuff because I didn’t know what to do… When I came here, Mr B. opened another door for me.”
