Let’s get one thing straight! Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx didn’t earnestly fumble the investigation as a result of an error, she purposely misled the public that she was recusing herself, then assumed control of the investigation and decided, contrary to the weight of gathered evidence, to simply close it, without indictment or even a factual conclusion.

She is the one that blew it and her approach and bias to the case. That is all it is and she has shown she cannot be independent and should have been removed. That is the reform that was needed.

I ran for Cook County State’s Attorney four years ago because we needed to change criminal justice in our county. Today, I’m officially announcing that I’m running for re-election. We’ve gotten a lot done, and we can’t go back now.

I have a feeling the voters are not going to buy your story. You did not mishandle the case the you were not supposed to be even handling from what you had said earlier in the case. You colluded with his family to let him walk after all the hard work your Police Department did. Wonder how much you were paid for doing that??

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

Okay, now that Foxx has admitted the obvious, she needs to first reopen the case, recuse herself from it and resign as Cook County State Attorney. With that done, the state of Illinois should file charges of maleficence, dereliction of duty and malpractice. She should also be disbarred.
