Community Comes Together To Help Struggling Family That Took In Kids Of Dying Neighbor

By Wayne Dupree | November 28, 2019

A tragedy left three children without parents so a neighbor, who already had five children of her own, opened her heart and her home to help.

Audrey, a cancer victim, knew she didn’t have long and decided the one thing she wanted for her three children was for them to be left with someone she trusted — her next-door neighbor.

Audrey asked Tisha — already a mother of five and a Las Vegas bingo cashier — if her three kids could spend the night at her house. Tisha and her husband agreed even though their home was cramped already.

As time was running out, Audrey asked Tisha and her husband to be their legal guardian even though they were “close friends.” Tisha and Kevin agreed. It wasn’t long afterward that Audrey passed away.

That’s where the Fox5 Surprise Squad came in. A family friend contacted the network and asked them to help the family for the holidays.

Tisha and Kevin took on a massive responsibility and her reason will leave you crying for the rest of the video below. I have to admit, I cried throughout the entire video.
